A Seat with a View

Little Man used to hate the car seat. Just being placed in it would set off the screaming; buckling him was a real terror. We were usually able to calm him down with the help of a paci and Snuggle Blanket, but the experience was anything but fun for all of us.

When he was a newborn, we used a padded head support to help keep him from flopping around in the seat. I was nervous to take it out, thinking he'd be uncomfortable without it. But since he's holding his head up well, I decided to give it a try. As it turns out, I had nothing to worry about. This is what we got when we put him in the seat alone:

Are we going for a ride, Momma?
This is going to be so much fun!
Who would have thought that this one small action would make for so much more happiness in our day? It's the simple things in life ...

  1. He doesn't seem stressed about it at all! What a cutie pie. ((hugs))
